Dobermans have owned me since 1979. They are a breed like no other...once addicted, there is no going back!

My goal is to breed very occasional litters of quality show and companion puppies, having excellent health and temperament.
I am a member in good standing of: Alberta Doberman Pinscher Club, Doberman Pinscher Club of Canada, Doberman Pinscher Club of America, Rocky Mountain Whippet Association of Alberta, & the Red Deer & District Kennel Club.

September 23-25, 2011- At the Lloydminster Shows Jaylo won Best Puppy in Breed four out of six shows, and added another 2 Best Puppy in Group wins to her total, which now sits at 14 BPIG wins! She is now # 3 Whippet Puppy in Canada, and # 14 Hound Puppy. She has made us so proud of her!
August 18-27, 2011- On our annual trip to the BC shows in Castlegar and Cranbrook, Jaylo wins the Breed eight out of 12 Shows, and picks up a couple more group placements, as well as several more Best Puppy in Group wins. She now has a total of 12 Best Puppy in Groups, and a Best Puppy in Specialty win to her Credit!
July 28-August 1, 1011- Jaylo attends the Alberta Kennel Club Shows in Calgary, and finishes her Canadian Championship, then takes a Best Puppy In Specialty Show under Judge Eugene Blake!
We are very proud of our little girlie.July 15, 2011-Jaylo wins Best Overall Puppy in the All Breed Sweepstakes at the Evelyn Kenny Shows under Judge Kendra James over an entry of 27 puppies! Thank you for finding our girl Kendra!
June 30-July 3, 2011- Jaylo showed at the Cold Lake shows, and made us very proud of her! She came home with a group 2nd, a group 3rd, a group 4th, and four puppy group wins! She is now sitting on nine points, and should finish her Championship in short order.
June 3-6, 2011- NACA shows, Jaylo goes Winner's Bitch 3 of the 4 shows, and Best Puppy in Breed on Sunday. Her Brother Manny was Best Puppy in Breed Friday and Saturday, and Friday was Best Of Breed over Specials, and Group fourth !
May 13, 2010-Jaylo enters her first show by going Winner's Bitch, Best Puppy in Breed, and Best Puppy in Hound group! We are very proud of our little Whippet baby, and big thanks go to her Breeders Claudine and David Hamilton, & Shannon & Krystyl Lyons.

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Mason was my first home bred Champion, and what a dog to start out with! He is a SuperStar.
His wins were plentiful, huge, and humbling. Mason finished his American Championship in a mere 9 days of showing, with 4 majors! He was handled to that Championship & to his first Best In Specialty by my friend Marlene Biglow, who loved and cared for him like he was her own dog.
Mason lives with his owners- Glenn & Joanne Weeks & family, on their Angus farm in Redwater Alberta. They have given him the perfect home, where he is fed his pancakes, is loved very much, 'works' their cattle, & chases gophers. I co-own him with the Weeks family, and we all just love him to bits.

I bought Kato to be MY dog, in order to enjoy a new hobby, and to meet friends. I worked like crazy with him, trained, showed, fed and loved him to death. Kato had other plans...he only had eyes for my husband, and refused to give me the time of day!
Kato wanted nothing more than to be a couch potato- enjoying cuddles with his 'daddums'. :)
Kato got to 'strut his stuff' one last time at the Parade of Veterans during the ADPC Regional Specialty in April 2010.
He had a blast....
Sadly, Kato left us suddenly on a rainy day in July 2010. He tore some large chunks out of our hearts and took them with him when he left. We are sure he is keeping them safe with him at the bridge... until we meet again.

She has filled every corner of my heart, and became the foundation for Torkelle Dobermans. She is the Dam of BIS/MBISS Am/Can Ch Torkelle's Stand By One TT 'Mason'. I couldn't have asked her for anything more....
At 10.5 years old, Kharma still runs around here thinking she is a puppy, every day is a party! The picture on the right was taken during the Parade of Veterans-ADPC Specialty, April 2010.

'Taya'
Taya was the only girl in her litter... clearly not a show dog, but...I just could'nt resist her huge personality! So, she stayed.
She was the sweetest, funniest girl. 'Tay-Tay' won our hearts, and we were so glad we kept her to be a part of our lives.
In May of 2009, Taya ruptured a lumbar disk, completly paralyzing her rear. We could not give up on her, so... spinal surgery with extensive re-hab.
Sadly, on March 10, 2011 our miracle girl ruptured another disc, and lost her battle with Degenerative Disc Disease. We love and miss her so much. Run free Tay-Tay...
